Che fine ha fatto Silvio Samuel?

Mi stavo chiedendo come mai fosse sparito dalle scene, quando dall'anno del suo debutto nel professionismo fino a un paio di anni fa è sempre stato sulla creata dell'onda, arrivando a fare diverse gare e tutte con un elevato livello di prestazioni.

Few days ago, I wrote an article about how Silvio Samuel would make his comeback at the Tijuana Pro. Well, he will surely not be competing at that contest anymore, because he was arrested yesterday, July 19th, 2011, for making threats through a thrid party, to an ex girlfriend of him.
Right in these moments, Silvio Samuel is kept in the custody of Riverside County Jail, where most probably he will spend some time. It’s not the first time he gets arrested, therefore Silvio Samuel will definitely have a rough time from now on.

For the moment, he was set a Bail of $250,000, just because he is a recidivist, therefore a real danger for the society. In fact the judge added a Terrorist Threat Charge, an accusation that is very hard to fight against.


Busted Twice

As I’ve said before, it’s not the first time Silvio gets busted. Few years ago, he was arrested for beating his wife for several time. At a moment, she couldn’t stand anymore the beatings, so she called the police. The result? Silvio was arrested for domestic violence.

No More Competing

Most probably, Silvio will spend a time in jail (if the accusations are real), at least from what we were told. This means that, at least in 2011, he will not be competing anymore at the Tijuana Pro, nor at the Arnold Classic Europe 2011. If the accusations are real, then the pro bodybuilding career might be over. He is 36 years old, therefore if he gets convicted and spends a couple of years in prison, most probably it will be over for him

That’s a pity, if you ask me. Again, if the accusations are real, he should have stayed and trained and shut up. Even if his girlfriend might of done something wrong, he shouldn’t have threatened her. And after all, you know what they say:”The biggest revenge on somebody is to live successfully”.

Già arrestato una volta per percosse alla moglie ha minacciata una ragazza (una sua ex fidanzata) ed ora è in galera. Se l'accusa sarà confermata rimarrà dentro per un paio di anni e, data la sua età (36), pare che la sua carriera termini qui.
